She might pretend that she doesn't care, but it's highly likely that your girlfriend or wife is looking forward to a gift or some special attention on Valentine's Day. It's the perfect day to show her how much you care about her and make her happy. If you're struggling with ideas for the perfect gift then here are four to get you started.
1. Classic romance
The easiest gift ideas are the traditional ones. Woe her with a gorgeous bouquet of flowers and a sumptuous box of chocolates. Take her out to that expensive restaurant, or even cook her favourite meal in the comfort of your own home.
2. Gift baskets
Another great gift idea is a gift basket filled with chocolates or her favourite toiletries and perfume. Top it off with a cute cuddly toy and have it delivered to her office as a public display of affection.
3. Surprise trip
Is she a fan of the theatre or a TV show? Take her on a trip to see her favourite musical or watch a taping of that television show. You can either give her the tickets on Valentine's Day or keep it a complete surprise until you get there.
4. Something adventurous
If your girl is a fan of the outdoors why not treat her to something really unique like a weekend horse riding, or white water rafting. Think how much fun she'll have telling her friends about your adventures while they lament over their garage forecourt flowers.
